About The ZEUS!
As a musical instrument brand, NUX has developed numerous stompboxes and multi-effects pedals. Users of high gain distortion pedals often struggle with power supply issues. While a DC daisy‐chain can power several pedals, ground noise can easily occur, especially when connecting both analog and digital pedals simultaneously. To be an industry pioneer, NUX is committed to creating a reliable, ultra-low-noise, lightweight, universal power supply with high current and complete isolation. In our review of previous isolated power supplies, we found that most products use the “toroidal transformer”. While this design can provide clean power, its efficiency, weight and size are not well‐suited for modern needs.
Our Quest to Find the Solution
On our research we found that many manufacturers uses “toroidal transformers” in their power supply solutions.
Although these transformers can provide clean power, they sacrifice efficiency, weight, and size.
This motivated us to seek a more optimal solution.
Here comes Zeus
Concept
Zeus, the Greek god of the sky and thunder known for his iconic ability to hurllightning bolts, inspired the name for our latest power supply ~ ZEUS. This compactunit offers 10 high‐current isolated DC power outputs, each supported by an individualisolated switching power transformer. ZEUS Jr. ensures a clean and stable powersupply for your pedals.
As a modern musician, guitarists like digital post effects like Eventide®, Strymon®, …etc. So Zeus comes with 3 adjustable high current outputs (9v/500ma | 12v/300ma | 18v/200ma), and 1 tweakable high current output (6v~9v~12v). It means you can use Fuzz or Phaser with the tweakable output to find the best sound.
For working musicians, Zeus has USB port for your mobile device charging. Zeus’ universal AC power in can let you work all the world without any AC mistake. It’s reliable and durable to power your pedals.

Transient Currents (Powerful)
The current of an effect pedal (especially power-hungry modern DSP effects) is different at the moment of power-on and normal operation. The transient current often exceeds the normal operating current by 1 to 2 times. Zeus can effectively provide more than 2 times the instantaneous start-up current.
