About Presets

Volcano Bass is the signature live bass preset used by Aldi of Murphy Radio. Designed around a split signal chain, this preset delivers a powerful low-end foundation while maintaining clarity, punch, and definition.

As the bassist of a three-piece band, Aldi needs a tone that fills the mix without overpowering the other instruments. The split signal chain allows him to balance low-frequency depth with articulate midrange presence, ensuring every bass note remains tight, dynamic, and clearly defined during live performances.
